Harvey Friedrich

Executive Director

Harvey Friedrich joined the staff of Beth Sholom Congregation in April 1999 as Executive Director. He has an MBA degree from Philadelphia University, and an MSW degree from Temple University. He has been involved in the administration of nonprofit healthcare and religious organizations for the past twenty-five years.

As Executive Director, Harvey is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Synagogue. Included in his responsibilities are: financial, personnel and facilities management; congregant relations; communications; event scheduling; and maintenance of the Synagogue calendar. Harvey and the Office and Facilities staff work closely as a team to make each congregant an important part of the Beth Sholom Community. Harvey is in his eighth year at Beth Sholom and enjoys working with the Synagogue's dedicated staff and volunteers.
